Over the past few weeks, I have been inspired by so many posts and images I have seen around the web, and I want to share few things that I saw and implemented in my home!
Ramadhan Mubarak Banner –
I have been inspired by dozens of different banners that I have seen pictured over the years, and I decided it was finally time to make one for myself! (Yellow is one of my favorite colors, can you tell?) 🙂
Moonsighting Binoculars –
This one was inspired by Hello Holy Days. I know my daughter will love to look for the moon every day using her very own binoculars. She already yells with excitement whenever she finds the moon, so this will definitely add to her enjoyment.
Countdown Balloons –
I have loved this idea ever since I saw it posted on Little Life of Mine a few years ago, and I was so excited to finally be able to implement it. I put a small treat inside the balloons for each day. My balloons were old though, so in blowing them, we popped too many, and even though we had at least 40 when we started, now we are sadly about five short. So a word of advice- make sure your balloons aren’t two years old! We need to go buy a few more balloons now.
Nasheeds –
I was inspired by the list of nasheeds posted by Muslim Kids Guide to share a list of my own childhood favorites to welcome this month. (Thanks to that list, my daughter, who was already a fan of Zaky, is now officially obsessed with Knock Knock It’s Ramadan)
Well We’ve Scanned the Sky by Dawud Wharnsby
Welcome O Ramadan by Zain Bhikha
Ramadan Moon by Yusuf Islam
I hope you all have a beautiful and very blessed month!
